Stay away from foods with lots of sodium because they will retain water
causing more water weight. Eat protein, natural fiber (ie fruits,
veggies and WHOLE grains not multi grain), try to eat a big breakfast
mediumish lunch and a small dinner, if you can handle the taste whey
protein shakes (the kind that body builders use) can be a great meal
replacement (don't get the special k kind they are loaded with sugar)
try to cut out sugars, trans fats, high fructose corn syrup. Drink lots
of water (10 or more cups) and try to avoid soda. Green tea is even
better if you can make it a lot. If you get hungry try eating a handful
of almonds they have good fats and they will keep you fuller than
chips. If possible avoid alcohol I know it's hard but if you can't use
water or diet soda as a mixer and avoid beer. Oatmeal is really good
too.
